Guidelines for publication in the local Proceedings

Again, congratulations that your submission has been accepted for inclusion in the local proceedings.

Breaking with the tradition of producing local proceedings stored at a department’s web server (that might disappear after some time), we now plan to publish this and future local proceedings using the CEUR-WS server. This has several benefits:

a) The site is hosted by the Sun SITE Central Europe at RWTH Aachen, free of charge, and the publications are open access (CC-BY 4.0).

b) Proceedings are assigned a uniform bibliographic identifier. CEUR-WS also assigns persistent identifiers (URN) to all published volumes in collaboration with Deutsche Nationalbibliothek.

The disadvantage is that you will have to change the submission style (see below) and possibly some markups. Therefore, we have redefined the deadlines for submitting the camera-ready versions and can give you more time (considering some summer breaks). The revised and hard deadline for the camera-ready version (and also the deadline for the early-bird fee) is

August 22nd, 2022.

In the following, we tried to compile essential information necessary for producing the camera-ready version of the paper (the information will also be online shortly):

1) As mentioned above, the drawback is that from 2022 onwards, CEUR-WS requires that authors use the new CEUR-ART style for writing papers to be published with CEUR-WS, and we kindly ask you to change the style of your publication.

An Overleaf page for LaTeX users is available at https://www.overleaf.com/read/gwhxnqcghhdt. You can also download an offline version with the style files from http://ceur-ws.org/Vol-XXX/CEURART.zip. It also contains DOCX template files. Please note that we are using the following setting/information:

a) Single-column layout

b) \copyrightyear{2022}

c) \conference{Informatics in Schools. A step beyond digital education. 15th International Conference on Informatics in Schools: Situation, Evolution, and Perspectives, ISSEP 2022, Vienna, Austria, September 26–28, 2022}

3) Authors must submit a signed Author-Agreement form. You can find the form below this paragraph (it already contains the correct names of the conference series and editors). Another form is available for papers that include copyrighted materials – in this case please see http://ceur-ws.org/HOWTOSUBMIT.html#PUBLISH for more information.

Please note that CEUR-WS does not accept digitally signed versions – please sign the document and send us a PDF scan together with the submission (see below). The corresponding author must have the full right, power, and authority to sign the agreement on behalf of all of the authors of a particular paper and accepts responsibility for releasing this material on their behalf. The authors should obtain permission from the previous publisher for any material they want to reuse.

4) Submission. When your submission is formatted correctly, and you signed the License-to-Publish 4) Submission. When your submission is formatted correctly, and you signed the License-to-Publish form, then please send us an email with the title „ISSEP22 / Local / [XXXX]“ (where XXXX represents your paper number) containing an archive file (ZIP or RAR) with the following content to issep22@aau.at:

  1. The final source files, incl. bib files, images, etc. (no older source files).
  2. A final PDF file corresponding exactly to the final source files.
  3. The Author-Agreement agreement, signed by hand by the corresponding author on behalf of all of the paper’s authors.
  4. A ReadMe-XXXX.txt (where XXXX represents your 4-digit paper number) text file containing:
    1. The name and email address of the corresponding author.
    2. The name(s) of the presenter(s) of the submission at the conference.
    3. A suggestion for an abbreviated running head, if appropriate.
    4. Information about the correct representation of authors‘ names, where necessary.

Again, congratulations on the acceptance in the local proceedings,

Andreas and Gerald
